The Crossing at Jamaica Station
The Crossing at Jamaica Station, developed by BRP companies. is a mixed-use and mixed-income development located directory across the Jamaica Station at 93-01 Sutphin Boulevard. The Crossing will be a two building . development, one being a 14 story mid rise and the other being a 26 story high rise, totaling 669 rental units, 35,000 square feet of retail space and 187 parking spaces. Construction began in 2017 and the development is set for a 2019 completion.
Not too far off from The Crossing will be the new location of a 26 high rise story rental tower, developed by Artimus Construction, which will bring 380 affordable apartments ranging from studios, 1 bedrooms, and 2 bedrooms into the area. The building will also offer tenants amenities that will include a laundry room, a fitness center, yoga room, resident’s lounge, business center, children’s playroom, an outdoor courtyard, a rooftop terrace, and parking.
BRP Companies, Wharton Properties
A new joint development between BRP Companies and Wharton Properties will bring over 300 mixed-income apartments and retail to the neighborhood. The development will replace the parking lot at 90-02 168th Street and build a 500,000 square feet, 70,000 of which will be retail.
