"Break for Business" – A Workshop Series for Local Businesses

The Sutphin Boulevard BID in collaboration with the Jamaica Center BID will host their third out of four workshops early 2010. "Break for Business" is a four (4) part workshop series geared towards the businesses within the local community. Our next workshop will be a Finance Clinic. Attendees will receive assistance and information on financing their business. Our final workshop will host an expert management consultant to discuss best business practices and much more. Workshop details will be given at a later date.

Annual Wine and Cheese Networking Symposium

The BID hosts an Annual Wine & Cheese Networking Symposium for the community and its members. Our annual symposiums comprise a panel of community organizations, city agencies and business owners/members to speak on constituent needs.

High School Workshops

Our members take pride in working with local High Schools. Our Workshops give students an opportunity to learn about operating and maintaining a successful business. Our workshop panel is comprised of property/business owners within the BID.
