Sutphin Blvd Harvest Festival

September 23, 2017 @ 11:00 am - 6:00 pm

Harvest Festival Flyer

Yes it’s a FIRST! The Sutphin Blvd Business Improvement District (BID) will host a HARVEST FESTIVAL welcoming the season of plenty to the Blvd.  Executive Director, Glenn Greenidge of the Sutphin BID makes it known from the start: “This festival is about more than corn and sausages.” Our festival has been designed to educate, inform, introduce, explain, support, entertain, and of course entice your palate with culinary delights inspired from around the globe.

We anticipate an awesome experience for each and every attendee. Festival begins at Hillside Ave at Sutphin Blvd, easy travel for those using the F train. All festival goers will be welcomed by an array of new & vintage automobiles, a zone dedicated to technology, education, mentoring, seniors as it relates to health care, legal/investment information, an array of non-profits, free resources, a farmers market, even Starbucks will have an outdoor café (Pumpkin Lattes… yum!), fashion along with arts and crafts will be a major feature as well. What’s a festival without a children’s play area bouncy houses, face painting, caramel/candy apples, popcorn, hot dogs and all steps away from the central park of Jamaica RUFUS KING PARK. In the middle of it all, a magnificent stage with entertainment and cultural presentations all day.  If you would like more information about this topic, please contact Sutphin Boulevard (BID Business Improvement District at 718 291 2100 or email at sutphinblvdbid@verizon.net.
