Destination Jamaica Discount Package

The Sutphin Boulevard Business Improvement District in partnership with the Jamaica Center Business Improvement District and the Long Island Railroad presents Destination Jamaica. Destination Jamaica is a getaway package for L.I.R.R passengers traveling to Jamaica Station. Riders who purchase a Getaway Package to Jamaica will receive discounts from participating merchants within the Sutphin Boulevard BID and the Jamaica Center BID. Sutphin Boulevard BID Expansion

The Sutphin Boulevard Business Improvement District would like to expand its services by late 2010. Expansion boundaries are to be determined. Meetings regarding the BID expansion are held bi-monthly. Property/Business Owners located on Sutphin Boulevard between Hillside Avenue and Liberty Avenue should contact the BID’s office if they are interested in attending meetings and/or learning more information about the BID Expansion.

Sutphin Boulevard BID redesigned its logo to pioneer its marketing campaign

In June 2009, the BID redesigned its logo. The new blue and gray logo displays the BID’s streetscape highlighting the Supreme Court House, Retail shops, the Long Island Railroad and Airtrain – all located within the Sutphin Boulevard Business Improvement District. Our new marketing campaign comprised an Annual Map and District Guide, a Business Services Guide and a website redesign. The BID’s Annual Map and District Guide provide BID services and contact information for all members within the commercial corridor. The BID’s Business Services Guide gives community members, BID members and local stakeholders an overview of the services that the BID provides.
